Living Well on Hemodialysis

Heartfelt advice offered by patients on dealing with problems associated with renal failure.

This 22-minute video was produced by Network 11 to use as an educational tool to encourage adherence to hemodialysis treatment. In this powerful video, patients talk about how they felt at the onset of renal failure. They talk about denial, anger, depression, and about their adjustments to achieve living well on hemodialysis.

Network 11's Consumer, Medical Review, and Executive Committees reviewed the video and recommended it for both patient and staff education. We hope that the heartfelt advice offered by these patients will help other patients and staff in knowing how to deal with problems associated with renal failure.
